Christmas Events

Frankston Lights events

Frankston's Christmas Festival of Lights kicks off the beginning of the holiday season in Frankston, a suburb of Melbourne, located 25 mi (41 km) southeast of the capital of Victoria. The festival, taking place on a Saturday in late November, has become a beloved tradition for locals and visitors since 1998. The festivities are concentrated in Central Business District, near the Frankston Arts Centre and Frankston Civic Centre.

The family-friendly Frankston Christmas Festival of Lights offers plenty of free entertainment: Christmas carols and holiday performances, sing-alongs, and dances on the main stage. The festival also features a crafts fair with market stalls and various type of food. The little ones can keep themselves busy with craft activities and various rides. A lot of children wait for the entire year to meet Santa and share their Christmas wishes.
